Senate Bill 18-200 was passed by the Colorado General Assembly on May 9, 2018. This bill ensures the funding levels of State Employee's retirement funds over a 30 year period.   • Currently, employees contribute 8% to PERA.
  • ​Beginning July 1, 2019, employees will pay an additional .75% for a total contribution of 8.75%.
  • ​Beginning July 1, 2020, employees will pay an additional 1.25% for a total contribution of 10%.
