What do I need to do before I go to the driver license office?

Gather identification documents
Please also note that State Driver License offices will not be conducting drive tests at this time. If you need to schedule a drive test, please do so at one of Colorado’s third party testers listed .

What do I need to bring to the driver license office?

Valid Colorado instruction permit
Social Security Card or a Document proving your Social Security number
Proof of current physical Colorado address documents
Applicable fee
