CDHS Wildly Important Goals

As part of the development of the Colorado Department of Human Services' annual performance plan, CDHS establishes up to five Wildly Important Goals (WIGs) each state fiscal year. The department's executive leadership develops WIGs that will advance its strategic policy initiatives. Each WIG is designed to be measurable, responsive to change and transparent.

Wildly Important Goals

2018-19 WIGs included increasing the number of licenses child care providers eligible for a quality rating; increasing the percentage of eligible youth completing Independent Living Plans; and increasing the percentage of people receiving Medication Assisted Treatment services.

Giải trí cá cược trực tuyến2017-18 WIGs included reducing youth seclusion; increasing treatment for opioid use disorder; increasing Food Assistance enrollees; collecting a higher amount of child support payments; and cleaning up CDHS administrative rules.

2016-17 WIGs included boosting the number of Colorado communities that accept Colorado Child Care Assistance; increasing the all-family work participation rate; ensuring that clients entering mental health services improve or maintain housing; responding in a timely manner to child abuse and neglect referrals; and improving client and staff well-being at CDHS's 24/7 facilities by increasing direct-care hours.

Giải trí cá cược trực tuyến2015-16 WIGs included providing timely food assistance; increasing the percentage of children in high-quality child care facilities; improving consistency and achieving compliance with national medical standards; and establishing regular meetings with House and Senate oversight committees in the Colorado legislature.

2014-15 WIGs included increasing the percentage of children receiving quality child care; reducing statewide homelessness; reducing the number of children in congregate care; ending the practice of transferring civilly committed patients to the Department of Corrections; and improving the rate of employment outcomes in the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation.
