Qualifications and Instructions for Removal of an Arrestee DNA Sample
Giải trí cá cược trực tuyếnDNA samples are collected from all adults arrested for felonies. The DNA profile will be entered into the DNA database once a person is charged with a felony. Under certain conditions, the person may apply to have their DNA sample removed.
The removal of a DNA sample from the DNA database is called “expungement”. You will qualify for sample expungement under the following conditions:
Giải trí cá cược trực tuyến1. Samples on file where the charges were dismissed, the case was acquitted, or the conviction for the offense was not a felony.
(There must be a final court order for the above.)
Giải trí cá cược trực tuyến2. Samples collected where no charges are filed or a felony charge was not filed within ninety days of arrest.
Expungement requests must be made in writing. Please complete the DNA Removal Request FormGiải trí cá cược trực tuyến, print it, and sign it. Forms may also be requested in person at all CBI offices, by telephone or by mail.
